Dean & Elaine host the Campfire/Chili dump the evening before our annual "Color Ride" on their property in Abrams. October 9th, 2010
On October 9 & 10, Chapter GB had its annual Color Ride. It started off with a chili dump & potluck & campfire at Dean & Elaine Balancer's property. The chili was wonderful as usual, and it never ceases to amaze me how 15 different cooks can bring a pint of chili & mix it together, and out comes this tasty and unique chili. Its a little different every time, but always good. After we sat around the campfire swapping tales. Rick & Anna Verber surprised us with a visit, which we all enjoyed.
On Sunday Oct. 10th we departed Green Bay with 19 motorcycles, I led a scenic 90 mile ride to our Brunch stop, The Colonial House in Freedom. After a delicious brunch we departed for another 25 miles ending at the "surprise stop", our house, where we had ice cream with various toppings, water & soda. The ice cream was provided by the State GWTA, and soda and water provided by Chapter GB. The weather was perfect as was the company and the food. Marcus & Diana Baudhuin
